In It Together: The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All was written by Eckhart Aurelius Hughes, a webmaster and the founder of OnlineBookClub.org. The book is a non-fiction work of his philosophy about life.

Life, the free gift of nature, is filled with many challenges. Most people face these difficulties with complaints, not knowing how to cope physically, mentally, and spiritually. However, each aspect of life can be faced with an inner consciousness. This inner state makes people aware of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

In his book, Hughes described the common struggles that most humans face on the Earth. He mentioned the natural and man-made disasters that are common to every country. He revealed the cry in every human heart: the need for a solution. He distinguished the "real self" from the "false self." In fact, he showed how a person can overcome bad habits, such as an addiction. Some of the topics discussed include the common struggle, a world of problems, why we can’t help ourselves, the opposite of temptation, and how to free our spirits and manifest love.

Besides its exposition, a notable feature of the book was its simplicity, which made the ideas comprehensive. The themes of hope, faith, and discipline were explored in the book. It is structured into eleven lessons, each offering suggestions for practice. Furthermore, it includes appropriate quotations from actual figures; therefore, I commend the author for this aspect.

Apart from the topics above, the author provided the definitions of some foreign words, which helped clarify the points of discussion. Moreover, the reader learns how to overcome any limitations. Likewise, the reader will learn not to excuse his or her weaknesses or indulge in vices or harmful habits. Thus, I would give this book 5 out of 5 stars for its analysis, and I will recommend it to anyone struggling with the basic questions of life, especially those who do not know whom to blame for the social evils in the world. In addition, the book was exceptionally edited, as I did not notice any distracting grammatical errors while reading. Finally, I found no faults in the book, nor did I dislike any parts of it.
