‘In It Together’ by  Eckhart Aurelius Hughes is a thought-provoking book on human freedom, unity, desire, struggle, and happiness. The book introduces the reader to the seemingly unending problems in the world. The author argues that without selfish human instincts, the problem discussed in the book will cease to exist. The author used the illustration of vampires hunting human beings to explain the situations in society, stating the different perspectives of different people.

The book presents the reader with two controversial topics: love and peace. Though controversial, they are the two foundational pillars of societal growth. The book welcomes the reader to join their minds and produce a solution for the numerous problems that humans contributed to through their actions and inactions. It is an extensive philosophical book. The book argues and presents issues to the reader, allowing them to make their own conclusion.

The book embodies many quotes from renowned individuals in different fields. It revealed spiritual truths, truths found from facts and not personal opinions. The book addresses every human in every aspect of life, showing them the truth around them. The enriching discussions are the positive aspects. There are no negative aspects in the book. Leaders and free-minded individuals will enjoy the book.

The concept of 'the enemy within' is what I like the most about the book. The narration about the ‘two you’ is very inspirational. It exposes the reader to the inner reality of a person. Though the topics are extensive and require carefulness, I do not dislike the book.

I will recommend ‘In It Together’ to lovers of books on philosophical expositions. I will rate the book 5 out of 5 stars. I gave the book a high rating because it contains a clear and inspiring message. The book contains no errors, indicating flawless editing. Bravo!
