There’s this saying: ‘Treat others how you want to be treated.' The question is, how do we treat ourselves?. We cannot help people in need of something when we have not helped ourselves. When we are kind to ourselves and also love ourselves, only then can we extend that love and help to others.

In It Together by Eckhart Aurelius Hughes talks about a lot of things under love and peace. There are things that define us as humans, and the book covers each one of them. Do you know that not eating when you are hungry is not self-love? When you read this book, the way you view things in life, including your life as a human, will be much clearer and better. This book unites everyone; it shows the unity between each and every one of us, the consciousness and unconsciousness within us. This book also encourages us to keep doing what we love doing. Do you know what true conscious love means? Read this book to find out.

I got captivated from the first page of this book. I was curious about what the writer was trying to say, and it all made sense as I read further. I was not disappointed. I liked how the book was speaking to everyone, regardless of religion, culture, or beliefs. I liked how interactive the book was; I was flowing along. Also, the writer’s use of relatable examples was so nice, it helped to really understand what was being said. This book helped me realize what self-love was all about, our defining and non-defining traits, the two ‘yous’, and so many more. Sometimes we tend to justify our sufferings due to one reason or another, but this book helps us to understand why we should not do that. Reading this book will also give you a wider view of temptation, and you will understand how to overcome it.

I did not dislike anything about this book; it was relatable and interesting. The book explained the human so well, step by step, chapter by chapter. I also learned how to find myself, the real me.

The book was exceptionally edited. I would rate it 5 out of 5 stars because I learned so much about loving and making peace with myself. I found no errors while reading the book. This book is suitable for everyone; they will discover a lot of things from this book.

Your intro is so true. You review is captivating and has simple but elegant writing voice. I also read 'In It Together' and agreed with most of everything that was said. It had a good, strong message that anyone could take piece from. Regardless, happy writing and stay well!
