Try the series of Pure Healing, Dark Longing and Dark Desires by Aja James. They're on Amazon. I'm on the 3rd book right now and it's pretty good.

I have a lot of stuff that could fit into your criteria. Any chance you could narrow it a bit? Long series? Short series? Standalone? Serious, intricate plot? Silly, romantic plot? Maybe give examples of stuff you've already read and liked
