“In It Together: The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All” by Eckhart Aurelius Hughes is a self-help book. The author has a lot to say about discovering oneself.

The book starts off by outlining its main idea as well as the problems it seeks to answer and perhaps address. The author guides the reader through a process of sifting through our emotional baggage to uncover our genuine selves and the existence of pure conscious love in both ourselves and others. It encourages readers to approach this body of work without bias toward political, religious, or social conventions and ideals and to read it with an open mind. The author challenges the reader to be their true self without having to hide behind the door.

It is well known that the way of working as least as possible is highly appreciated, and it is one of the lessons the author explained in this particular book. If you take on less responsibility, you will meet more goals and also avoid burnout from having to handle everything all at once. From my own experience, I agree that putting in too much effort in this case causes much frustration and brings forth nothing. I enjoyed the author’s writing style. Throughout the book, the author presents the ideas in a favourable light. Readers will agree with me that this book is expertly written.

There’s nothing to dislike about this book. Irrespective of the reader's background or position, anyone can understand Hughes’ message. The part I love about reading this book is having to lose my outer shell to discover my real self. I give this book a rating of five out of five stars. The author spoke with experience and self-awareness. I found no mistakes here; in other words, the book was exceptionally well edited. I recommend it to those looking to find themselves. Also, the philosophy lover will find it enjoyable.
