In It Together: The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All by Eckhart Aurelius Hughes teaches readers that by finding beauty in our individual differences, strengths, and perceived imperfections, it helps humanity become better. Hughes communicates deep philosophical ideas, breaking them down with ease and light humor to lighten the gravity of such deep ideas.

I like that the author is well read. He drew inspiration from different works of life. This shows that the author is experienced and that he knows what he talks about. My favorite was when he talked about the psychological explorations of Carl Jung. I like the research work done in order to write this book. It must have been stressful and tedious, but it was worth it in the end, as this book is a masterpiece. The author shows the difference between human consciousness and animal instincts through his explanation of how each controls our daily lives. If you're looking for a book full of wisdom without being the least preachy, it's a good one.

The issue of loving people the way they are is one that I agree with. We, as humans, often try to change people to be what we want them to be instead of loving them the way they are. Loving them without necessarily having to change them would be so great for humanity.

I like the author uses words that are understandable to all. It is well and good. It enables everyone to be carried along and also to benefit from this educational book. There was nothing I found to dislike about the book; the pacing and the length of the book were both okay. I found no errors in the book; it was well-edited. I rate this book five out of five stars. I recommend it to people who are feeling down in life. This book will cheer them up and give them a purpose.
