Eckhart Aurelius Hughes' book "In It Together" forces readers to examine and gain a profound awareness of the daily decisions we all make, most of which are made without ever thinking about them. The author raises philosophical issues regarding our civilizations and the difficulty people have recognizing good and evil.

Throughout the book, the author attempts to analyze human behavior and the root causes of most of our actions. It is interesting to note that the simplest of actions we should be taking, such as helping a person we know is in need, has become a difficult decision, and most people make excuses for not doing it.

The writing style was simple, but most importantly, it made me feel like I was being taken on a journey of self-awareness. Also, it felt like the author took into consideration that anyone could read and need this book without excluding any type of belief or social background.

Personally, I am not a big fan of books that involve any kind of self-analysis. However, this book gave me a perspective that I had never considered before, and that is the impact that my actions have on the people around me and society in general. When I act in a selfish way or make decisions without considering others, I may be affecting them, and for me, that is a major reason to slow down my fast-paced life a bit.

My rating for this book is 5 out of 5 because the author has created a very deep book that keeps the reader engaged from start to finish. I couldn't find anything to dislike about this book; with a simple narrative, the author did a great job of making sure that each read was engaging and captivating. Also, I could not find any grammatical errors while reading through this book; therefore, this book was exceptionally well edited.

I will recommend this book to those who need a guide to finding inner peace and self-awareness. In terms of age, it doesn't contain any strong language or explicit sexual content, making it suitable for young adult readers.
