It Together: The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All by Eckhart Aurelius Hughes is a philosophical book that discusses some core issues about society, government, the human mind, consciousness, the force of love, the ideas of good and evil, self-discovery, and spiritual liberation, among others.

The book begins by introducing the core concept of the book and the issues it aims to address and potentially resolve. It advises readers to approach the book with an open mind, free from any attachment to political, religious, or societal norms and values. Readers will explore discussions on social ills, such as suicide, obesity, low self-esteem, the high number of children dying each day, addictions, excessive selfishness, and different perspectives on these issues.

The book argues that every person has two aspects: a good and bad side, known as dualism. It also suggests that every person is undeniably conscious, which means they are not merely human bodies but conscious beings. The author emphasizes the importance of being compassionate towards oneself and taking responsibility by apologizing when necessary.

It Together: The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All discusses these topics from a philosophical point of view, allowing the readers to think over them and understand them from their point of view. The discussions in the book are broad and understandable. Readers will immerse themselves in the book as they study the topics. I love the analysis of the concept of good and evil. I did not find a negative aspect of the book. The editing is flawless.

The writing style is a positive aspect of the book. It is descriptive and inviting. The book is interesting, and I could not find anything to dislike. Readers may not accept all the beliefs of the book, but the author welcomes the reader to a free space where they can choose to believe or not to believe. The book title and subtitle are what I like the most in the book. I give the book 5 out of 5 stars because of my observations above. I recommend it to lovers of philosophical books.
