Review of In It Together
"In It Together" by Eckhart Aurelius is a great book we should find and read. The author wholesomely addresses the concept of inner peace in every one of us. We all strive to live a peaceful life and be the best of us. But do we achieve this so easily? Maybe not, maybe yes? The author kicks off by documenting the challenges we encounter in our daily lives. These include; poverty, alcoholism, and hunger. All these are struggles. The author notes down clear mechanisms for finding inner peace, real or true happiness, and self-discipline. The author acknowledges the role of love in our achievement of inner peace. Love is considered a unifying factor for all of us. Indeed, love is equal factor that cuts across all of us. The author has a message for all of us to accept our shortcomings, and follow his recommendations given towards the end of the book to achieve inner peace and live a positive and happy life.
I must acknowledge that I loved every bit of this book. Every paragraph, every concept, and every line has an important message it carries. The author uses a provocative tone, honest, humorous but kind one that holds the readers’ attention and draws their interest to know more. Eckhart uses standard English that can be understood by everyone. He uses quotes made by other people to spice up the book and make it interesting. He uses repetition to create an emphasis and stress on his massage giving his concept much needed self-clarification.
It is worth noting that the author appreciates each and every one of us. While giving his opinion in an honest way, he underscores open mindedness. He is neither rigid nor judgmental. He acknowledges that we’re all the same. We all have struggles and we all have the potential to achieve inner peace and live positive, happy life.
I did not find anything in the book to make me dislike it. The author remained considerate of all readers while giving his opinion. Therefore, if I was to differ with his opinion, I couldn’t have disliked his interesting message.
I give this book 5 out of 5star rating. The book was professionally edited and carries very important messages that will impact each and every person who will spare their time to read it.
