Our Children

Post by Gingin » 22 Jul 2017, 02:13

Children are angels from heaven
Happiness is what they're bringin'
Parents priceless treasure and token
Cannot be borrowed nor can be taken.

Children are God's gift from up above
They are our mother's greatest love.
Educate them well so they will learn
For they are your charming intern.

Their smiles are innocent and pure,
Their eyes are not cynical at all;
Children always love to have some fun,
It's their nature, we should understand.

Honesty is what they all possess
In a world where lies, never at rest
Constant love should take place
So they may grow with great qualities.

Children's education is very important
It's an attainment that cannot be hunt
The knowledge and wisdom they have gain
Are essential tool that cannot be taken.

This is a well written poem with end rhymes. It is well structured and has a deep message to us parents. It deeply touched my heart at this particular time pain pierces my heart following the disappearance of my fifteen years old son whom i love so much. The noise children make in the house brings happiness, satisfaction and joy.

keep writing Gingin Bonita.

Hmmm what new information is being told here.
I have seen this idea and these lines before.
Consider putting you and your experience of children into the poem.
Use specifics and less generalizations.

Beautiful poem. It portrays exactly what children are. I especially like the innocent and pure part. Children are innocent and pure until someone comes along to change that. Well written. Thank you for sharing.

I think this is beautiful in its simplicity.

I would love to know what inspired you to write this poem!
