Ironclad Clay: Part 1 was written by J. Mark Wright. This book is about examining the relationships that we have with Jesus Christ and how to build a stronger relationship. Through this examination we have to learn how to use the spiritual armor of God. We get a better understanding of what it means to be God's child and the complications of sin in the world.

First, I would like to point out that this is a Christian book even though that probably seems obvious from the description. I kept the description pretty short because I wasn't sure what else I could say without sounding like I was repeating myself, which is why I decided to be more descriptive throughout the review. The first thing I would like to say about this book is that it is the best non-fiction Christian book that I have read in a long time. The author was incredibly creative in expressing what he had to say, but it also did not feel like he was trying to force his views onto the readers who are not Christians.

J. Mark Wright states "The Ironclad has to do with our spiritual armor in Ephesians 6:11-18. We must also have this armor to fight the spiritual battle we are in every day. And the clay is what we are made from in Genesis 2:7." I am not giving away any details here that shouldn't be revealed because this information is also given in the Amazon description. I just want the readers to understand the meaning of the name here, and throughout the book the author describes what this means to us and how we can apply it to our lives.

What I enjoyed most was that he covered something new in every single chapter. This was helpful for me because it made it impossible for me to get bored. He describes his studies of biblical characters in great detail in order to demonstrate his points and added his own personal stories here and there as well. Each time he talked about a character from the bible or talked about a personal experience, it was relevant and important to the point that he was trying to make. One of the things that I always look for in a Christian book is whether or not it is easy to understand, and I felt like the author definitely succeeded in this area. He went into such great detail in every single chapter and on every topic that it was difficult to get lost, which made the book much easier to enjoy. Every once in a while he would tell a joke that he heard from someone and at the end of each chapter there was a poem summarizing the content of each chapter, which added even more entertainment to the book.

I do not have any complaints about this book. There were a couple of misspelled words, but that was the only grammatical errors that I noticed. I have been a Christian for many years, but this book made me look at my own relationship with God in ways that I had never thought of before. I always enjoy hearing different views, which is what made this book such a great read. This is about all I can tell you without giving away too many details about the book. The author's writing style is creative and inspiring enough for anyone to enjoy and relate to.

I rate Ironclad Clay: Part 1 4 out of 4 stars. As I mentioned above, this is one of the best non-fiction books that I have read in a while and I have no complaints about the book, which is why I give it the highest rating. I would highly recommend this book to Christians, and I believe that people who are not Christians would enjoy this book and the author's point of view as well. Most importantly I would like to thank the author for writing this book and giving me the opportunity to review it.

The author based the book on an important tenet of Christianity - taking on the whole armor of God. It is interesting that he spiced it with a joke every once in a while, and poems summarizing the content of each chapter. Thanks for the thorough review.

This seems like an interesting read. I'm not sure if it will interest me even though I am a Christian myself. Great job on the review!

Thank you Chrys Brobbey, njoro_i, Jaimie Lync, and Zena Lei7 for commenting on my review. I also liked how the author added a joke in here and there to entertain the readers, and the poems were an interesting way to sum up the chapters. It really is an interesting book, and I am happy to see that there are a couple of people on here who have already read the book. I hope others get a chance to read this inspiring book as well.

I love that this is a Christian book that helps and encourages readers to build a stronger relationship with Jesus. I agree that this is a book that will benefit both Christians and those who are not religious at all.

Great Review! ?

Hello Amagine and kandscreeley. Thank you for commenting on my review. I wasn't sure what I would think of it either because of the title, but when he explains what the title represents, then it made complete sense and I found it to be very creative. It is an excellent book for Christians and non-Christians alike. Thank you both again.
