Hidden Treasures Lie

In an alley
In a valley
In a community
In a city
Hidden treasures lie
Not silver or gold
But a people with a history untold
That still unfolds
Like a scroll of papyrus leaves
Recounting ancient tall tales
Of giants and dwarfs
Times of sorrows and times of laughs
Of Odin, Horus and Zeus
Hocus, pocus black magic
But it's so tragic
that they have never heard of the King of the Jews
Though they have heard of the Holy Grail
What they call the cup of blood
But who will tell them that the cup overflowed
And the blood still flows
Cleansing all who would draw near

In an alley
In a valley
In a community
In a city
Hidden treasures lie
A people that need to be awaken by the light of the Son

Hidden treasures lie
So we need to tell the truth

Hidden treasures lie of great minds in the heart of simple people.
Hidden treasures lie in the pure hearts of the poor.
Hidden treasures lie in the laughter of the children.
