“His Majesty’s Posse”, a book written by Noah Bond, tells the adventures of Six, a trained agent and assassin who works for a secret organisation. Agents who work here are given new identities and are required to carry out their tasks precisely. Six is saddled with the responsibility of disappearing enemies and leaving no trace. He has no direct link to his boss and doesn’t know who he is. He’s only allowed to associate with Fiona, who is also a partner in the organisation.
Fiona is kidnapped by unknown men who inflict multiple injuries on her, and she is eventually set free. Again, she gets shot by Beyond, an agent superior to Six. Why did these events occur? Why will Beyond want to kill them both? Did she survive being shot? Get a copy to find out.
The book is set in four locations: London, Brighton, Paris, and Surrey. As the story unfolds, Fiona reveals the dark secret surrounding her and Lieutenant Colonel Starky. I like Fiona’s fierce personality. She is one who does not allow her traumatic past to define her future. I’m amused by Six’s sense of humour, as he makes light of every situation, no matter how serious it looks. Again, I like the way Fiona gradually warms up to Six. The book progresses in an easy, conversational tone, and the author paid proper attention to detailing and distinguishing the different characters.
There’s nothing to dislike about the book, although I wondered why there are many chapters in the book, as a new chapter begins with every change in scene. However, this did not affect my reading flow in any way. Again, I didn’t find any errors, which shows the book is flawlessly edited.
For these reasons, I rate it 5 out of 5 stars, as there’s no justification to deduct any stars. This book is recommended to readers who love books on crime and mystery. It’s also a thrill for readers who love solving puzzling situations, just like the events that took place in the book.

After recovering from severe injuries in the Iraq War, a Special Air Service veteran undergoes radical treatment for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, emerging as "Six" with no memory of his past. Living in London with his housekeeper and fellow operative Fiona, Six becomes embroiled in a deadly power struggle within the organization that employs them. As they navigate the complexities of espionage and danger, Six and Fiona form a bond reminiscent of classic covert operatives. "His Majesty’s Posse" is a nuanced tale, skillfully blending intricate details of geography, history, and organizational politics. The author's expertise in both the broad and minute aspects of the story creates an immersive experience, making it a compelling read for those who appreciate a thoughtful, detailed narrative. This captivating novel earns a well-deserved five out of five stars, recommended for readers from young adult onward.

The clandestine operations and secret groups in this book make it seem incredibly intriguing. Even so, I always hope to recognize some of the locations when I read a book that is set in England. I am excited to read it.

"His Majesty's Posse" by Noah Bond. An interesting book, talks about Six, a trained agent and an assassin who works for a secret organisation. Fiona on her own side reveals the dark secret surrounding her and Lieutenant Colonel Starky. Fiona who was also kidnapped and got lots of injuries was then set free. This book is action oriented and it's a must read for me. Congrats on your #BOTD.
