Review of Snatched Up to Heaven for Kids

[Following is a volunteer review of "Snatched Up to Heaven for Kids" by Jemima Paul, Arvind Paul.]
When choosing to read this book, I was interested in the direction it would take. Sadly, it went the way that had I hoped it wouldn’t. At first, I thought it seemed like a nice children’s book, and to a certain degree; it is. The book speaks of parents consoling their daughter when she starts having questions about heaven. I think by the end of the book I’m reading how Heaven uses fear to convince young minds to “obey.” On top of the multiple grammar errors, this isn’t a book I would recommend. The author does as far as footnote scripts from the book, which I think is nice. Although it is something I didn’t enjoy, I think it’s a well-enough-written children’s book that could be enjoyed. It’s definitely something a parent would need to read to their child, but I believe that could be a part of the experience. It reads of a loving family showing their daughters, Emma and Bella, what it means to go to heaven. It also speaks on what the possibilities of going to hell are. If I take away my religious point of view, the book has a meaningful message.
