Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul's Snatched Up to Heaven (Astounding testimonies of heaven and hell from the mouth of babes) is a non-fiction book about the spiritual encounters of the author's daughters, Priyanka and Deepika, being snatched up to heaven.

The authors (Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul) are a married Christian couple with two daughters, Deepika and Priyanka. One day, their daughters recount an experience of their souls being taken up to heaven by angels. The girls get to experience this on several occasions and then eventually get taken to witness the horrors of hell as well.

Throughout the pages, the authors attempt to explain the stories or experiences the girls told them to the readers, with biblical citations to back up each part of the story. The very first of these would be when the authors tried to explain if the girls had dreams, visions, or were just taken up in the spirit to heaven, using Enoch, Elijah, and the apostle Paul as references to show that being snatched up to heaven has biblical evidence. This pattern continues till the very end of the book.

The most important strength of the book as a Christian book is the biblical evidence the authors made sure to provide after each part of the girls' journey to explain their experiences so the reader wouldn't shrug the stories off as a fairy tale. I also liked the simple vocabulary employed by the authors to convey their stories, allowing the book to be easily understood by a wide range of readers.

I found myself without any dislike whatsoever for the book throughout my reading period; rather, I found it difficult to put down till the very end of the book. I must also commend the editing of the book, as I noticed only one grammatical or spelling error throughout the book.

I'd rate the book 5 out of 5 stars for the amount of research and effort put in by the authors to provide evidence for each part of the story and their excellent choice of vocabulary.

I'd recommend the book to Christian adults and their families and to every person who enjoyed the previous Online Book Club 2021 book of the year, "Snatched Up to Heaven (For Kids)" and wants more details or wants to know where the inspiration for the book came from.

I agree with you that the most important strength of the book as a Christian book is the biblical evidence the authors made use of. I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of emotion conveyed in Snatched Up to Heaven!; it's a touching and enlightening story.
