[Following is a volunteer review of "Purpose" by Gina Bianchini.]
I chose this book to read because I like the title and it resonates with where I'm at on my life journey. I found this book to be very interesting, well-written, and it absolutely provides insight to finding our purpose(s) in life. The author provides great questions to ponder, as well as a guided walk-through of allowing yourself 30 minutes each day with your favorite beverage, pen and paper. I did the suggested exercises and found it to be enlightening! She continues in the book with how to create a community around your interest(s). I found this to be exceptionally well thought out, and she even provides excellent examples of how to put everything together and make it work, which was extremely helpful. I didn't want to stop reading it because I found her guidance to be so engaging. She addresses the current issues with social media which I could easily relate to. Not only does she address the issues, but she also makes suggestions about other alternatives which I intend to put to good use. It's obvious she put her heart and soul into writing this book. I certainly appreciate the guidance this book has provided me and look forward to creating my community!
