The Date Farm, by Jack Winnick, is a very suspenseful and intriguing fictional book. Even though the events in this book never occurred, they feel very real and could be events that eventually happen. This book is a story about terrorists murdering and injuring many people in a public place and then an associated group of terrorists stealing very important materials from the United States. There are two main heroic characters. They are Uri Levin and Lara Edmond. They are a married couple that have experience dealing with terrorists. They both speak fluent Farsi and are familiar with the leader of this terrorist group. URI works in Israel and is part of Mossad. His responsibilities include keeping the citizens of Israel safe. Lara Edmond is a FBI agent and also an adjunct Massad agent because of her marriage to Uri. After a terrorist attack in Los Angeles, Uri and Lara are called in to assist the FBI. The FBI needs to determine what the terrorist's mission was and what was the motive. As Uri and Lara help investigate this attack, there is another attack that takes place in New York. Terrorists have taken over the Federal Reserve and the Chase Manhattan Bank. Uri and Lare are now flown to New York to assist in this situation. Uri and Lara go undercover to help the FBI retrieve the stolen materials and locate the terrorists involved. Uri and Lare are in a very dangerous situation not knowing who they can trust. This book has a good plot filled with intense action. I would give this book a 5 out of 5. It is very well written and reads easily. If you enjoy adventure novels, I recommend this book.

How many words does it have to be? The guideline I printed says “your review must be at least 300 words”. This is directly from the website.
