Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi is the ninth book in the series. The book focuses on Inca and the team. Missy is invited to be a judge in a cooking competition in South Korea. She decides to go with the team, and everyone is excited. Missy makes a special cheesecake to present at the competition.

She meets her rival on the plane, and they greet each other. The flight to South Korea was peaceful and without stress. On landing, they discover that the cheesecake is missing. What does the team do about the missing cheesecake?

I enjoyed reading this book. The graphics and illustrations would draw children’s attention more. It was a smart move by the author to use friendly images of animals. I like how the author uses animals as characters. It helps educate children about the nature of different animals in the world. The author’s use of vocabulary was child-friendly. It didn’t dissuade the children from reading the book.

The characters all played their roles well and weren’t just fillers. I like how the author didn’t add stories to make the book longer. Every sentence was important to the storyline, and there were no fillers. The author educates readers about the history between South Korea and North Korea. The author also explains why the two countries split up into South Korea and North Korea. The author also explains why the two countries split up. It was nice to read, and helped me understand the situation better. Our history is an important part of who we are, and children must see the value in learning it.

I found nothing wrong with this book. I found no errors in the book, which indicates how well-edited it is. I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to children who love reading books about animals and books that have illustrations in them. I also encourage the older audience interested in mystery books to give it a try.
