Terms of Service is a book written by Craig W. Stanfill. It talks about life in another dimension, mentioning certain rules, regulations, and methods of living required to survive there. The book focuses on Kim, who worked directly with the AIs to ensure the smooth running of their world. This book explains the process of making a new AI as seen with Kimberly and the AI that Kim developed. It also explained the consequences of not obeying the rules, as seen with Kim towards the book’s ending.

I was intrigued by this book as I had never read a book showing life in another dimension, and I could not help but imagine how life would have been if the book were real. I liked the fact that the author let us know about his style of writing and certain terminologies used beforehand. It didn’t clear the confusion completely, but it helped a lot. This book kept me on my toes, and I liked the fact that Kim could finally think for herself at the end of the book. It was refreshing to see that she had a mind of her own. I also commend the author for being careful while writing, as I didn't notice a single error while reading the book. The book was very well edited.

One of the few things I didn't like about this book is that I found the writer’s consistent use of cuss words disturbing. It would have been best if the curse words had been reduced. As much as the writer made his style of writing known initially, I was still confused a lot of times while reading. The use of certain pronouns like "we" or "our" for singular persons, "she" or "her" for all genders including male and female, and the use of certain words like "selfist" instead of "selfish" confused me numerous times. The use of the pronouns confused me a bit when Kim made love to her childhood friend, Shan. I could not tell if Shan was male or female because of the pronouns used.I rate this book four out of five stars.

I gave a rating of four out of five stars because I genuinely loved how this book was set. I loved how it made me imagine life differently. I also liked the suspense that came with this book. I deducted a star because of the numerous cuss words and the difficulties I encountered trying to get used to certain words and pronouns.

I recommend this book to all lovers of sci-fi as well as all those who love to imagine life differently.
