The ability to imagine and think for ourselves is what separates us from mechanical and electronic devices. Would the world be a better place if we gave power to our creations? Will artificial intelligence make the world a better place? Terms of Service by Craig W. Stanfill answers these questions.

Kim works for an artificial intelligence company as a researcher. Kim's life, starting from her food selection, dressing, and transportation, is controlled by artificial intelligence. Kim constantly trains robots on how to navigate real-life circumstances. Although the job is tedious, Kim enjoys it. Technology ruled the land, serving as judge, jury, and executioner. The robots were in charge, and they controlled everything. Kim and Shan discover a secret that could change things. On their way home, they get lost. What did they find? How did humans cope with living under machines? To find out, grab a copy.

The author creates a world that differs from what readers are familiar with. I enjoyed the world-building, and it kept me engrossed till the end. The author merges two worlds with his creativity. It showcases the skill and talent of the author. The author takes his time to introduce the characters, which made comprehension easier.

The book was never dull, as there was something to keep the reader going. While the world is trying to move forward with AI, the book gives an idea of how that would feel like. It also highlights the advantages and disadvantages of a world greatly influenced by technology. I wouldn't have been able to cope had technology been in charge of the world. I could relate to Kim's frustrations when the refrigerator gave her meals she didn't like.

There was no privacy for humans, which is absurd. All their actions were evaluated and monitored by robots. I like that the book highlights the importance of having humans in charge of technology and not the other way around. The machines being in charge created an honest world where the crime was almost nonexistent. Corruption was eliminated because the machines could not be bought and did exactly what they were created to do. I found no flaws in the book. I found no errors in the book, which indicates that it was well-edited. I happily give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. This book would make for a great movie. I recommend it to lovers of science fiction.

Happy to see a different perspective for this book. I didn't enjoy it as much as you did; I thought the world-building wasn't strong enough and took up too many chapters. Great job on the review!

While the review was direct and straight to the point, I didn't enjoy reading it. I feel there's an element of thinking can get you. Well written regardless.
