As children, we always loved to read stories about detective animals or watch our cartoons about them; this is one of those stories, and you'd enjoy reading it.

Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is a book written by R.F. Kristi. It discusses a detective company tasked with the responsibility of solving mysteries that is known all throughout England for being great at its job. The members of this company are all pets, with Inca, a brilliant cat, as its head figure.

What I really liked about this book was the flow of the storyline. The pet's owner, Missy, had to attend a French pâtisserie competition organized by Le Cordon Bleu, at which she was to be one of the judges. The ceremony was also an avenue for her to display her latest cooking invention, a special cheese delicacy. But there was an old acquaintance of hers who wanted to see her downfall by trying his best to steal her invention, so it would not get to the eyes of the public and she'd be embarrassed, but Inca and her crew stopped him by sensing he was up to something on time.

I liked how the author mixed a bit of action into it even though it's just a children's book. I also got to learn about the DMZ, or Korean Demilitarized Zone, a border that divides and separates North Korea and South Korea. This is something that, before reading this book, I had no idea about, so it's good to know.

I am rating this book five out of five stars because I really enjoyed reading it and it does not deserve a lower rating. I did not find any grammatical or spelling errors, which means it was exceptionally well-edited. Furthermore, I recommend this book to children who love detective and adventure stories.
