[Following is a volunteer review of "Seeking the Light of Justice" by Dr. Barry Nadel.]
The book, Seeking the Light of Justice is a science fiction and fantasy novel written by Barry Nadel. This is the first part of the Hoshiyan Chronicles Series. This book is about Professor Yoshua and his team searching for the legendary King.
This book is around 400 pages long and divided into thirty-nine chapters. The story begins when the archeologist, Professor Yoshua Rosenberg received a letter concerning Joseph Lopez who was related to the legendary King, the Light of Justice. In that letter, he hoped to find a clue regarding the Light of Justice, which led him to a museum. But that went in vain. Similarly, when Yoshua tried every possible way to get to the legendary King, the pope in the Vatican City was alarmed. So, what do you think the pope has to do with the Light of Justice? Who exactly is the Light of Justice? And did Yoshua find him? Well, to know the answers to these questions, you much read this book.
I highly appreciate the author’s imagination and creativity. He has beautifully narrated all the scenes. His writing is crisp and eloquent which makes it easier for people to read and understand. The best part of this book is that I got to learn a lot about archeology, the things that are dug and discovered. Also, the author has talked about the Vatican City, the pope, and their culture, which I found highly interesting. This book is filled with suspense and adventures that kept me on my toes the entire time. My favorite character has to be Professor Yoshua Rosenberg. His intelligence, confidence, and attitude are commendable. And the credit for this goes to the author.
Overall, I had a great time reading this book. There is nothing much that I disliked about this. However, the font and spacing of the text were inconsistent throughout the book, which did not give a professional look to it. Also, this has many characters and that can be confusing at times.
I found an error while reading this book. So I assume that this book is well-edited. But still, it can go through another round of editing because of the above-mentioned formatting errors. So, with that being said, I rate Seeking the Light of Justice 4 out of 4 stars. I have given this a perfect score because of the intriguing story that kept me gripped throughout. I do not have a strong reason the rate this any lower.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading suspense and thriller novels. This may not be suitable to be people who do not like fantasy books.
