Review of Strong Heart

[Following is a volunteer review of "Strong Heart" by Charlie Sheldon.]
As a nature enthusiast I was automatically curious about this author. I rate this volume an easy 4 out of 4. The character introductions held my curiosity immediately. I was surprised by the emotions evoked throughout this journey. I'm not usually one to get lost in fictional worlds.
I feel a lingering sense of loss now that the tale has come to end. I did not want Sarah's stories to end. I need to know what comes next for this group of adventurers who I've found popping up in my daydreams this past week. Surprisingly I am thoroughly invested in these characters. This book is imaginative with such vivid, descriptive writing I could not help but be consistently drawn in. It wasn't a simple I uninspired read. It worked my brain, making me want to learn more about these places, these passages, the creatures, the peoples.
I have had to keep reminding myself that it is a work of fiction, not a true historic account (though I want it to be!)
I am looking forward to exploring more with this author.
