I gave The Wellness Toolbox a 4 out of 4 stars. There are so many self help and "try this" books on nutrition, weight loss, and exercise books out there right now. Most are overwhelming to read and try to follow. Most make many promises, but few people will follow through.

As a former powerlifter and personal trainer, I liked reading this. It was a book I could read cover to cover or put down and pick up later. It has good reference materials as well as being a good read. It was down to earth, and many people will relate to it. Reading it gives you a lot of facts and myths, along with stories which are compelling. It makes you want to go to the grocery store and try out the items he suggests. I believe his "Don Stories" are what drove him to write this book. He is telling his story. His comics throughout the book were fun.

As I read I found myself highlighting many sentences and paragraphs. I can use this to make a list to take to the gym or to the grocery store. I definitely want to try the Yerba Mate.

Don has his gym in Colorado, and if he was nearby I would definitely give him a call or try out his gym. We need more wellness people like Don, who treat the whole body and not just one of the many aspects which affect our bodies. I highly recommend.
