I got the idea for this from an NPR program. The contestant is asked a question(usually about a well-known person,
place, or thing). They are then given 3 answers, only one of which is correct. If you choose the correct answer, of
course you win. Here's the caveat: The question and answer are rather obscure aspects of the subject(Hemingway,
Gone With the Wind, a tubal ligation, for instance) that only a nerd(like me for instance) would know. You don't
have to be a nerd to play this game well, but it helps. I'll start it off.
Hemingway wrote Death in The Afternoon about an interest of his, bullfighting. In the book, he talks about a
disease which is prevalent among bullfighters and often deadly. Is it:
1. syphillus
2. prostate cancer
3. tuberculosis
