Favorite Sweets to Make?

What is your favorite sweet thing/baked good/candy/anything of that sort that you like to make?
Mine is probably snickerdoodles, I used to make them with my grandpa when I was very young. We just recently found the recipe and made them together, it was so fun and nostalgic. And they’re so good!

Extra question:
Do you like your cookies chewy or crunchy? I think chewy is the best (and only  ) way!

I love cooking, and pastries/sweets are some of the most rewarding to me (so many of them are really finicky, like fudge, so getting it right feels so good!).

Cupcakes are my thing at the moment.

One of favorite things is finding new things to try. Youtube is great for this! I just found Japanese pancakes, and am interested in mooncakes.

Also, CHEWY! It's the only way!

My go-to for parties and family events has been Oreo balls recently, and they've quickly become my favorite. They're very cheap and not too difficult (how could Oreos and chocolate go wrong, after all), and easy to tie in with the current holiday or party. Last Super Bowl I shaped them into little footballs and added the white stripes with some royal icing, and I turned them into eggs for Easter. Finishing off the Oreo ball eggs went a lot faster than trying to eat a carton or more of hard boiled eggs!

Chewy reigns supreme!

Come to think of it are sweets cooked? I didn't know that bit, I like my sweets with a chocolate flavor.

Brownies! Or a very decadent, creamy, chocolate sauce!

My favorite has always been chocolate chip cookies. But I've recently found a new love -- a recipe for "Maine Bars." They're like brownies, but made with molasses instead of chocolate. And if you add fresh blueberries to the dough, they're even better.

I just did a batch of pumpkin spice cupcakes with brown sugar cream cheese frosting... And I have to say they were really good. I'll probably make them again, but only as a fall treat.

I really love eggs ,I can eat them in any method cooked and I like watching YouTube to find out more methods of cooking eggs .They are my favourites.

I think chewy is the best but also crunch is not that bad but it may affect the teeth.

Candied walnuts! It's super easy to put together (just boil sugar, water, and add in walnut pieces in a pot), tasty, and convenient for snacking.

As for the extra question, I enjoy both chewy and crunchy cookies, depending on the type of cookie and my current mood.

I have been making cheesecakes and chocolate lava cakes quite a lot lately.
And to answer your question: a cookie isn’t a cookie if it’s too chewy. I can’t handle store bought cookies because it’s too crunchy.

Lemon bars, French macaroons, fudge brownies, cheesecakes. There's so much sweets we can make, I just love it!

I used to dislike making brownies, because they always came out cake like. But recently I've tried some new recipes that made them fudgy and delicious!
