Am not so much into wine but I have wondered about how someone who has never drank wine can know which wine will taste good?
Any suggestions?

I never liked wine, especially dry wine or even semi-dry wine. My love for wine developed only after I visited a wine farm and did a wine tasting. During the wine tasting they explained to us how to "taste/smell" the aroma of the wine. I would say that it would be wise not to directly start of by drinking dry wine, but rather a semi-dry wine like cabirnet sauvignon. Also try to experiment with different types of wine.

I'd suggest a mildly cooled - 30 minutes in the fridge will do - white sauvignon blanc or chardonnay to someone who has not yet tasted any kind of wine before. In my opinion, they are easier to like than red wines.

I'm in the same boat! I feel like I have tried so many different wines, yet can never find one I like. I can definitly say I do not like dry wine, but aside from that I am clueless.

My husband and I do NOT like wine, but we want to? It seems very classy, so we try to drink a bottle when we watch Game of Thrones or even on other, less intense occasions.
I am very partial to Reisling. We get a bottle by Barefoot for maybe 8 dollars, and it's by far the best I have had.
After the GOT Great War, we decided to step up our game and buy a red wine. My brother suggested Pinot Noir. Again, we bought Barefoot for the price and reliability. He hates it, but drinks it for the sake of the show. I actually enjoyed it, and would recommend it if you want to go red, but not *too* red, if you know what I mean...

Red wine is the best since it does not affects ones health ulike other hard drinks

I love wine but it was an acquired taste for me. When I first started drinking wine, I drank sweet, red table wine which now makes me

. If you’re buying wine for someone or just want to get into wine, usually Cabernet Sauvignon is a good place to start… California or European, over the $10-$15 price point.
