If my brain is cooperating and I'm reading a good book I tend to tune out extremely well, for better or worse. lol
At times, though, my mind races and doesn't let me soak in the words I'm reading, which can be incredibly frustrating.
Sometimes I push through it, re-reading paragraphs as many times as necessary, but other times I have to put the book down and come back to it later.

This, and any other jarring and disruptive noises, such as erupting laughter, barking dogs, and drilling machines. I also can't tolerate people chatting loudly at my direction. Let just say, it brings out the worst in me...Thokchom Alice wrote: ↑04 Nov 2018, 22:20 Crying baby! It annoys me very much. Otherwise, until someone starts talking to me personally, nothing disturbs me.
