I rate this book 3 0ut of 4.The cover of the book made it interesting. How it written stories of personal transformation made me interested to find out more.we were about to be introduced to the Gurus that change the narrator's life. The book delivers that but in a beautiful storytelling.
The story is divided in different chapters. Each chapter start with a myth he believed and end with a truth he discovered from this guru's in his life. The were few errors on the book which made it a page turner. It keeps you yearning for more. I learnt so much about the choices we make, How to make it back up from the terrible fall.It bought back the motivation i needed to change my life no matter where i come from.
It is a motivation a guide and a journal to keep close when ready to tattle and change your life. Whether you are young or old, starting or running i recommend you read this.It amazing how someone from a small town can be able to look beyond what is in front of him and achieve his dream. With the help of family, friends, and everyone around us we can do more. It taught me to look at every situation as a learning experience.Iam ready to apply this lessons in my own life.
I loved how he went through losing everything and being able to but himself up again. He did gave up but with the lessons he learned from this guru's, he was able to get up and fight for what he wants. He gotten second chances that made it easy for him to give people second chances. That teaches us about life. It not about holding to people's mistakes but forgiving and moving on. It makes you a bigger person.
If it wasn't for the aunt who had to pick up old maid card for him where would he be. Or my favourite part when we get to find out who Margaret was. A little girl that taught him important lesson it not only about me me but about me and you. It doesn't take much to change your life with the right attitude you can make it.
This a guy who wanted more than to go to the same career his father did. Who wanted to go to college when no one did. Who quit the teaching career to start his own thing. From a small town to traveling the world all the way to Africa is an inspiration. Iam truly inspired to hold to my dreams and never give up. I gave this book a 3 out of 4 rating because it is well written and keeps wanting more.
