Is this book good to be adopted in to a film?

I never watch movies after reading stories because I feel like I can imagine the scenes in endless ways possible if I just read them. I liked this book and I would love to see a movie made on this. I hope if this book gets adopted in to a film, it justifies the book well.

I agree completely with your comment. I'm also always reluctant to watch movie adaptations of books I enjoyed reading. But then again, almost every author wishes to have at least one of their books turned into a film and it would be great for that to happen to Belle Ami.

There are a variety of settings in this novel which would make a film not boring. The scenes of past events may be portrayed in Sepia color.

Definitely yes! It covers everything. From mystery, puzzles, romantic and more. I know it will be a hit just like The Da Vinci code.

Yes, it has wonderful imagery, and is outlined excellently. I love how the author kept the antagonist on my mind, with brief interludes between the main story.

I think this would be a great movie. Let's make Alex and Angela's relationship a little more realistic and maybe spread it out over a longer time span. But I think the beautiful Italian backdrop would be wonderful to see. And Gerhard and Sophia's escape from the museum would be quite exciting. I can see myself enjoying this in a visual format very much. It has a lot of excitement to keep the story moving.

The characters are rich and the story line is captivating,but there is just too much that would have to be crammed into a movie; it would have the movie crew challenging themselves to their limits. But I do think that from the right people, it would make an interesting movie.

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown was adopted in to a movie and it was a success. Here we have another book which focus on another painting of Da Vinci. Will this book be a good idea to make a movie on that? I say yes. What do you say?

Yes, I think it would make a great movie. Ryan Reynolds as Alex and Morena Baccarin as Angela since they both have great chemistry together. Granted, I've only seen them together in the Deadpool movies, but I think it would work.

This book will surely be a great idea for a movie. The mystery and the historical visuals will just be perfect. I'll probably be looking forward to Angela's character.

Why no? It is a perfect mystery read with a bit of romance to top it all. It will be a too good movie with difficult moments to suggest on what will happen next. A great idea!

As is, no way. On screen this book would come out as hyper-emotional which turns the drama and suspense into silliness. In order to adapt to film, this story would need to be cleaned up a lot. Angela needs to be able to express her reactions in more than one way to avoid redundancy and some of the dialogue needs to be adjusted to sound more natural. I’m cringing every time I see the word “baby”. It feels so out of place.

The time travel as featured in the book certainly has the potential to produce a magnificent movie, characters' dialogue would certainly have to be honed to create a film that wows the audience.

It's a good idea to add this book for a movie, especially when we see the the previous book on da Vinci was successful.
