Is this book good to be adopted in to a film?

Honestly, I'd say yes to this too. The switch between three distinct time periods will do the trick and make for a spectacular movie if handled properly. Unfortunately, after reading Dan Brown's book, I found the movie a fiasco, but in this case, I think the movie may be even more successful than the book. Imagine passing from a magnificent de Medici Palace or Leonardo's studio to the Uffizi gallery and the bombing of Florence in WWII and then straight to Getty Museum in Los Angeles.

I agree with you! With Dan Brown movie adaptation, though great there were still moments were you felt like cogent parts of the book was skipped. I think a movie for The Girl Who Knew da Vinci would be a good hit, especially because it also had romance which was not exactly present in Dan Brown's book.

I think that this would make a pretty good movie. Although I think people that have not read the book may get confused with Dan Brown's book. I think that all of the flashbacks and mystical elements would translate well into a film.

I never watch movies after reading stories because I feel like I can imagine the scenes in endless ways possible if I just read them. I liked this book and I would love to see a movie made on this. I hope if this book gets adopted in to a film, it justifies the book well.

I don`t think it will make a great movie, a blockbuster. Comparison is inevitable and another movie that will feature another DaVinci painting or the same it won`t have the same impact. But it can be a decent movie, seen by a few connoceurs.

I agree with most people on this forum that Da Vinci Code was a great book but not too good a movie. It is difficult to translate certain things into a cinematic, visual medium. This book, The Girl Who Knew DaVinci, on the other hand, is perfect for a movie and I would love to see it made into one.

I think it's a great idea for this book to become a movie and I do agree with other readers that the scenes in this book needed absolute detailing. However, it is that often time the book storyline was butchered, making me a bit unsure whether I'd like this book to be a movie. But if it does, I do hope production team wouldn't butchered this story much.

In the right hands, the book would be great as a movie. But it would be hard for it to land into those ''right hands.'' It's not like the book is breaking sales records at the moment. So, it's unlikely that a major producer/director would choose to work on it. But that's just my opinion.

I think it was a great read, but it will be a great challenge to transform it into a movie. The will need a huge budget plus, an amazing cast to be able to tell the story with as much passion as the book meaning: more budget.

I think this book could make a pretty good movie. It's a pretty good mix of different genres: action, mystery, romance, and history. This would draw in a pretty large demographic.

Creating a movie based on this book would be brilliant, if it is well-made. The past life regression theme is also an interesting one and I believe that with proper portrayal, it would definitely attract many viewers.
