An inviting review! Your saying that the book was so rich you felt like you could read it multiple times and get something different from it each time is high praise indeed.

The reviewer's comments that the character development and world building are excellent have definitely captured my attention. I love books that have strong character development. It sounds like there are some really great themes to explore in the book, and it is plenty long to enjoy it for a while. I’m looking forward to this read!

Woh, adventure, action, vampires, magic and comedy that lights the fire of imagination and engages curiosity, inherited enemies, magical portal, abilities to wield magic and so much more. Fantastic. A perfect blend of fantasy and reality indeed. Amazing review.

That was a pretty informative review! I'm really looking forward to reading this especially since there aren't many books that don't portray vampires as love interests or sex symbols.

Ooh when I saw 680 pages my reaction: Gotta read this!
Then you mention fantasy, magic and all the other elements that make up my favourite books....ergo this book just claimed spot nr 2 on my TBR list!
Great review, thanks!

Really good review. Even if vampire books are not for me, I felt like I could read such a rich themed books. Magic, vampires, religion, medicine, society. Seems very interesting. And how the books starts normal, Eric being just a drunk little human. I also want to know more about this society that has a king and what is the Church of Light. Are they good or bad Only one way to find out. :D
