Think it's £8 a month
And you get as many ebooks as you'd like for just the £8 a month? If so, that's quite the deal!
Anything which is on Kindle Unlimited. You can have up to 10 at a time. Then you just swap them back for another
Oh, so it works similar to a library of sorts? You get the books for a certain amount of time?

You can keep them as long as you have your membership, just you can only have up to 10 at a time

I see, thanks so much for helping me understand this!

Awesome, thanks for sharing! How long is your library deadline? For my local library it is 3 weeks, which works well for my reading pace and schedule. And yes, I agree, having a personal library is something I also desire, some books may be just to good to rent and return!
I think my public library was something like 3 weeks as well, although at the time I was maybe 14 and couldn't drive along with a very busy home life, so returning books often got forgotten. Meanwhile a bookstore was a block over from my school, so I used to go there during my lunch.
I see, can;t be much more convenient than a block away! Do ever buy online? Many people I've talked to in this forum have given me great tips on where to look?
I don't by online, not because I'm opposed, but because I just love going to bookstores. My best-friend and I try to meet up at least once a week and our go-to meet up spot is a Chapters in our area with a Starbucks attached. So we usually will grab a coffee, sit and talk for a bit, then walk around the store for an hour.

Very cool! I also don't buy online, but mainly for cost concerns and the convenience of my local library. I do also love being surrounded by books, so much out there to learn and enjoy, and bookstores are the places for that! I've never heard of Chapters...is that a local chain in your area?

Thanks for sharing! Is that primarily for cost reasons? Where do you typically buy from?
No problem! Yes, mainly for the cost. I usually, of course, typically buy them from Amazon.
And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. (Revelation 20:12 (NKJV) :reading-7:

A great low cost option! Is the shipping charge usually an added cost for you? Or do you have Amazon Prime or just select standard shipping to minimize costs? I know that, not being a Prime member, if I want a book fast I have to pay a good amount for the book to be delivered quickly. One of the few unfortunate points about Amazon in my opinion.

I tend to get my books from a local used bookstore, but I also go to yard sales and library sales to see if I can find anything that looks good.

Awesome, thanks for sharing! Sounds like cost is something you pay attention to...do you have a local library near by?

Awesome, do you prefer to own versus rent books? I know every avid reader probably aspires to build their own library at some point

I certainly like to own some as well if I know I'll want to return to them time and again. Do you often re-read some of your favorite books?
