Actually, his spiritual journey was not a cop-out and I found it inspirational. Thanks for replying.

The review is well written and easy to read. The book might be some of those one you take time to read to flow smoothly. Might turn out interesting.

Yes, I agree. Dancing in this case is a metaphor for going with the flow of the Universe. Thanks for replying and I hope you enjoy the book!

It's a shame that syntax and style can be so distracting. I think your suggestion about the use of humility is a good one.

I totally agree. What's the genre of the book? It seems there's not much to learn from the book anymore (apart from what the review explains).

The genre for OBC is other fiction but I would add spiritual as a category. If one is new to this category, I think the book would be a good introduction, but if you have read a fair amount from it, it would likely not be new. Thanks for replying.

The book looks interesting. The title itself caught my attention. An author undergoing a spiritual journey is quite common as a theme, but I still think it is worth reading.

I'm actually drawn to books like this--fictional works where characters go on what turns out to be a spiritual journey. Thank you for your honest assessment of the problems with the book.
