I would imagine she would also be stunned at the spinoffs of her novels. Especially the zombie one!tnv456 wrote:I have to agree with you about Jane Austen. Her novels hold a special place in my heart (especially "Pride and Prejudice"). I can only imagine how shocked she would be by how different the world is now!

Her perspective would be so great to talk to her about!

I would LOVE to meet C. S. Lewis in person. Or Diana Wynne Jones.

You stole my answer, lol! Jane Austen, for sure. Her perspectives on men and romance were often comical and I would love to get her perspective on the modern-day dating scene with online dating networks and matchmaking television shows (like "The Bachelor"). I have a feeling she would share in my feelings of how distasteful dating has become.luvnatalia555 wrote:Who would it be? I would choose Jane Austen so that she could write more books. I would LOVE to meet her! Also, I think it would be hilarious to see how she would adapt to modern day life. Do any of you have favorite authors that have passed away?

And Robert Jordan as well, I love The Wheel Of Time books, I really would enjoy discussing the story with him.
