I suppose it's kind of funny that I've been a part of this site for about three days now and I'm only just finding the introduction forum. Whoops. :laughing-rollingyellow:

Well, to start off, I found this site on a goodgle search for a blog where I could post reviews since I sort of wanted to branch out from wordpress, where I've been posting the majority of mine for about a year now. I've been rather interested in establishing myself somewhere and wordpress simply hasn't seemed to do it for me thus far. Granted, I'm more interested in writing the reviews than in the PR side that comes with getting them out there, so I imagine that could be part of my problem.

I'm most active on goodreads and it's by far my favorite site to date. The organization is perfect for me and my only real complaint is that it's hard to make connections with other reviewers there.

Anyway, so far this site has been an intriguing and rewarding experience. I've only written two reviews at this point, but I can say I deeply appreciate the feedback I've gotten for them and I'm looking forward to improving the reviews I write in the future. It took a while to get used to the layout of the site, but I feel like I'm getting it down fairly quickly.

A little bit about myself. Hi! :greetings-waveyellow: My name is Stephanie (I typically go by Steff, but I'm not fussy). I'm 25 years old and work as a tutor. In my free time I write and I read. It's the best way to spend one's time, really. My favorite genre is young adult, though I do branch out from time to time and I've enjoyed science fiction and fantasy the most.

I'm looking forward to all the new books I'll read in 2018 and getting to know everyone here. :)
