Me too, so many tears spent on that book. Did you read the second one? It went in a totally different direction, but I liked it too.

The book that made me cry was Lone Eagle by Danielle Steel. Many times I want to read it again but realize I just don't have the energy yet.

The Passions of Emma by Penelope Williamson and The Portrait by Megan Chance. With The Passions of Emma I knew what was going to happen and still cried, the usual troupes aside it was such a touching story and one of my favorite books. The Portrait is one of my favorite books as well, many scenes in it I still find myself thinking about from time to time.

Honestly, just about any Nicholas Sparks books! And almost any John Green book. I genuinely love books that can evoke any kind of strong emotion.

Crooked Kingdom made me cry for probably a week almost and got me into a state of sadness for almost 6 months! Now I'm afraid to reread it because I still can't get over the tragedy in it!

The Book Thief and The Hunger Games make me cry every time I read them. Some books, too, are so devastating I actually forget to cry. 13 Reasons Why is an example of one of those. But I think that when you cry at a book, or a specific section of a book, it really shows what kind of person you are. I couldn't imagine not being able to cry when I read a really sad part.

Corrag by Susan Fletcher. Susan Fletcher is one of my favorite authors, and the way this book was written really touched me. It was truly an unforgettable story.

I have cried with many books but the one that was my epic moment of crying because of a book was when I was in high school and decided to read Gone With The Wind. It was a big read for school but my mom and I had watched the movie tons of times and it was one of my favorite movies so I thought why not read the book! Books are always better than the movie! So, when I got to the part where Rhett leaves Scarlett I cried so hard! Such a great classic.
