I’ve read reviews that compare this novel to Game of Thrones, but I’ve not personally read or watched it. I feel like I should, though. It’s generally my go-to genre for books.
I am a big Game of Thrones fan. I have not read the "End of the Last Kingdom" just yet. But due to the reviews and comments I just read, this might just be my next read.
I hope you enjoy it. I think I’m going to go ahead a get a copy of the first Game of Thrones book. 🙃

Thanks for your well-written and interesting review of the book. Everything you've written made me feel excited and even pictured the scenes in my imagination as you've perfectly described them. Your review helped me decide quickly to have this book on my want-to-read list and I look forward to enjoying it soon.

I really enjoyed reading this book because of its great storyline. I thought all of the characters were so relatable, and I found that the storyline made sense in many ways, like the time frame. Many books do not last over a long period of time, like a year of the characters' life. This book, however, used a true timeline that was affected by the weather and what happened to them, like in a real-world situation. Overall, I gave this book a 3 out of 4 stars.

It would be interesting if this book was Game of Thrones without all the sex scenes.

Wow this book sounds really great. I have been reading all the reviews on this...including some spoilers...and I think that I want to read this now! I am not normally a fan of fantasy novels, but if it had been likened to Game of Thrones, I want to read it.

I loved the battle scenes , the use of magic and the theme of the book. The violence depicted in the book gave me a reflection of today's world and the need to embrace peaceful process in solving issues. I gave the book a 3 out of 4.
Good book for the war lovers , I mean readers who love war book stories.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I just finished reading it and I enjoyed it. It was suspenseful and had well developed characters I could relate with. I love the magic aspect of it.

I'm rating this book 2 out of 4. At first I liked it because I wanted to see Brimstone succeeded, but then it just got really weird and very dramatic to me. I couldn't connect with any of the characters. There was almost too much going on in the book which made it difficult to follow.

Reading all these great reviews of the book make me want to pick it up as well. If it comes on the review board, I'll get it. Sounds too good to be missed out on.

I enjoyed the story and loved following Brimstone on his adventure. I am curious to read what happens with him and his group in the authors next book when it is finished. I did observe several errors in the book though where words were left out. It was easy for me to plug in which word should have been there but it is one of the reasons I give the book a rating of 3 out of 4 stars. I also felt like Brimstone's character toward the end had become more bland so to speak. He lacked the excitement and energy he had at the beginning of the story. I felt that more could have been added to all the characters toward the end really.
