This sounds like an interesting but moderately challenging read since it's written in traditional verse. I know it took me some time to get through The Canterbury Tales my first (and second) time around. It sounds like it's well worth the effort though. I love the titles of the tales. Thank you for the wonderful review!

Thanks everyone for the feedback. The story is written with the flavor of 14th century verse, but is very easy to understand. That's why I was so impressed with the author. He was able to bring hints of the old writing style without being dense.

From the title this is not at all what I expected but it sounds interesting. I like the name of the individual stories, such as The Accountants Wife: Cosmetic Queen. Thanks for the review.

Sounds like a very impressive labor of love by the author. I just hope the stories aren't TOO close to Chaucer's (since those stories have already been told). Great review.

The stories aren't too close to Chaucer's tales. It's more done in the spirit of the style of Chaucer's classic book. Your description of an "impressive labor of love" is what I also thought while reading.
