ha ha.. manual thing that you mentined was a funny way of looking at it. Well saidinaramid wrote: ↑29 Nov 2017, 04:42 I don't mind explicit scenes if they're there for plot- or character-development reasons. I couldn't see any purpose for at least a quarter of the adult scenes in there, and I find it weird that they're written in a matter-of-fact, procedural manner, almost like a how-to manual for sex (e.g., insert this thing here and then lick this thing here). This gets a 1 out of 4 stars for me.

I agree. The main idea behind the book was interesting. There were just too many unnecessary explicit scenes.

I thought the premise was interesting, too, and agree there were too many sex scenes.Rosemary Wright wrote: ↑29 Nov 2017, 16:06 I rated this book 3 out of 4 stars. A sci-fi / erotica fiction. It's an interesting novel except for the explicit sex scenes.

I love the concept and am excited to see how the main problem gets resolved, but unless it picks up I won't be able to give it a 4. I will come back when done and give my overall rating.

The concept is good, I agree. I look forward to finding out if you enjoyed the rest of the book. The second half seemed less desirable for most readers, but I hope you enjoy the book overall.Zelinda wrote: ↑30 Nov 2017, 01:30 I'm half way through this book and I mostly like it, but I find myself wandering a bit. I would have enjoyed more of the science fiction, and am hoping the next book incorporates more of it.
