I don't have nearly as many books as I would like. My reason being I haven't lived in the same place for more than a year. I was in school for a while and then we've had to move a lot for my husband's work. It's hard having to move a bunch of boxes of books. Once we buy a house next year though, I'm setting up my library!

I probably own that I keep to maybe read again someday between 10-15 books. I don't like to keep books because since it is hard enough for me to find the time to read I know I will not read those again as I would rather take the time to read more. So I buy them at a book station here in town for cheap to read then give them back

Too many and not enough all at once. I used to be around 200 but I donated a bunch of ones I didn't think I'd read again. So now I'm down to somewhere around 100-150. This sort of makes me want to go count. Not even sure how many kindle books I have either!

Only about 20-30 physical books. I read mostly on my Kindle, but somehow don't really count books I read on it as books I own.
It is what you read when you don’t have to that determines what you will be when you can’t help it.

I have never counted my books, and I will never because whatever the count is - it will be too few in my opinion. Roughly guessing I'd say about a thousand. Excluding encyclopedias and old inherited books and book sets.
Some people read to live. I live to read.
