Good beer is not distinguishing............. Try some of the newer craft beers & you'll be surprised.

JK Rowling. I'm a big Harry Potter fan and even if we don't talk about her books, I'd love to pick her brain about politics and feminism.

A beer with Stephen Fry would be both entertaining & no doubt mind-blowing. If it could be anyone, alive or dead, Camus would be high on my list.

I would LOVE to have a beer with Sherrilyn Kenyon and J.R. Ward. I would love to hear their back story for coming up with their characters and story lines.

Oh, it would be an honor to have Sidney Sheldon drinking a bottle of beer with me and discuss the books he wrote. And ask him questions like, how he started writing, what or who inspired him to write, his preferred quiet place when thinking, and so on.

Unfortunately, this is just wishful thinking because Sidney Sheldon already passed away.

Maybe I can catch up with him in the next life and still have a bottle of beer. :)

I'm not very enthusiastic when it comes to drinking (beer, especially) but I would love to sit down and have some wine or tea on fine china with Friedrich Nietzsche.

I don't drink beer, but lunch with Hemmingway would be interesting. 'For Whom the Bell Tolls' is one of my all time favorites, next to 'The Old Man and the Sea'.

Wally Lamb - dude is just cool. He gets people, definitely understands women, and reads very down-to-earth.

This will have to be a top three.

1. The late, great Terry Pratchett because he was great fun
2. The late, great Carl Sagan because he was so intellectually brilliant, as well as warm-hearted and generous
3. Grahame Cossum, who wrote "Make Peace with Your Harshest Critic - You", so that I could thank him in person for his inspiring yet utterly down-to-earth work. Plus, it's clear from the book that he has a great sense of humor.
This post was brought to you by the word "specifically".

I don't think she was a beer lover, but I'd love to meet Agatha Christie if it were possible. She was a woman with a brilliant mind, such a talent for criminal stories with interesting twists and even more interesting detective characters which stand out from the rest.
