Not sure yet. I'll finish the first book and then see how I feel about it.

I think you'll like it. The first one ends on a kind of sour note, but the rest of the series is really good!

I haven't finished the first book yet so I will have to see how it goes. I'm the kind that needs to know how the story ends though, so I may end up continuing the series.

I saw that the next two books are available on Kindle Unlimited, so I picked them up, just in case.

I looked up The Ninth Circle and it does look interesting! It's actually free on Amazon, so I grabbed a copy and definitely give that one a read. I think I'll pause on World on Fire for now. Maybe I'll pick it up later on. We'll see.

Thank you for letting us know it is free. I grabbed a copy as well.

For myself, I am torn, so I'm curious to see what others think!
Yes, I purchased book 2 yesterday while it was the BOTD!

The Ninth Circle short story feels more like scripted action! I thought it was a lot of fun (and at free it isn't bad at all!) then it has the intro to Raven's Peak in it to sort of tie them together.

I enjoyed it! Lots of action (which I love!)

I sampled the other books. They are really well written. I wish I could force myself to like the genre but unfortunately I have my stubborn preferences.

That's great to hear! I'm going to give his other book, that focuses on Arthur, a chance first. Then, we'll see if I continue with the rest. Thank you for your input. :)

That's a really good plan! The short story is free, which is a great price! I wonder when the next one will come out?

I personally did not find that the book made me want to read the next one. I feel as though I just need a break from that style of writing. Maybe sometime in the future.
