The television show Supernatural is up there, but I have a lot of favorites. I love Constantine, too, and just about anything with angels and demons.

I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer (obviously) and I also enjoy Terry Pratchett's stuff, although I don't know if that counts as horror. Supernatural satire? It kind of defies genre.

I really enjoy the Bone Season books. As for TV, The Walking Dead would have to be my favorite if it counts as supernatural- but agree with others that True Blood (books and series) was really good. Movie wise, Twilight or Sixth Sense.

I also enjoyed "A discovery of witches" by Deborah Harkness, although I've yet to read the last one. The whole Sookie Stackhouse series, more so than the TV version. "The Succubus blues" series and the Anita Blake series as well. All time favourite TV series is Supernatural, absolutely love it, has such a good mix of gore, horror, mystery and comedy.

Never heard of that one by Deborah Harkness, I'll have to check it out!

After reading the other posts, I realized I read/watched very few supernatural books/series/movies or maybe I know of a lot but don't like them much, Twilight for instance. I think I like Buffy and if any of you still remembers the series 'Sabrina, The Teenage Witch' and 'Bewitched' I enjoyed those a lot. So old? I think so, too :)

I forgot about Buffy! That show was my introduction to the fictional supernatural world! They should do a remake of it. It's truly a classic.

A Buffy remake would be amazing. I'm on board with this!

Like many of you, I adored True Blood but never read the books. I also enjoy Supernatural (but that might just be because of Jenson Ackles (smiles)). I love anything by Stephen King and even though most might categorize him as horror, I think he has come a long way to becoming more a supernatural type writer.

I loved the X-files, too! That would probably be on top of my list. Second would be all stories I read/watched involving witchcraft. There's too many I already lost count.

I would have to say hands down my favorite two supernatural series are Supernatural and The Walking Dead. I know that may sound cliche, but I can get behind the characters in these series. I love all things Dean Koontz, Stephen King, and J K Rowling. I have many other favorite supernatural authors, so it is very hard to choose just one book. If I had to pick, I think that my favorite series would be the Thirst series by Christopher Pike. I enjoyed his characters and smoothness of his writing. My favorite supernatural movie would have to be either Dracula or Underworld. I am a huge fan of the supernatural and love just about anything that is done in this genre.
