Rejected reviews

I was thinking that what if a reviewer gets less score for grammatical errors. Instead of rejecting the review one can be asked to rewrite it by just correcting the errors. In this way the quality of the review could also be maintained and a lesser number of reviews would be rejected. Just a thought.

I would think this would lengthen the process of getting reviews processed. It would also increase the work load for the editors.

There could always be a peer review section for reviewers. Maybe to help correct errors before submitting it. As long as it's in before the deadline, what could it hurt?

I understand but then it takes a lot of time to write a review. Just because of some typos if a review gets rejected then it gets frustrating too.

Even I was thinking the same. Just the way the software alerts regarding the guidelines, if the mistakes are also pointed out, it would be lot more helpful before review submission.

One of the guidelines specifically tells reviewers to check very carefully before submitting so there should never be major typos if one has done triple checked their work. There are subjective grammar matters but that's different than typos.
