Idea for new Forum!

So that we can provide faster and better support, this forum (the "Public Suggestion Box") has been retired. Instead, please send any suggestions you have to us using the official website contact form.

This allows us to streamline our support system so that we can get to your message much faster. Instead of our support staff having to check three different places (support forum, suggestion box, and contact form messages), they know can respond to all message through one method, with that one method being the official website contact form.

Idea for new Forum!

Post by Wasif Ahmed »

In this new idea for a forum, people can nominate books for various award categories such as Most Suspenseful, Most Adventurous, Most Exciting etc. The book with the most nominations will be awarded with the award and the members can discuss about the book in the forum. This will give a new platform to publicize books. The BOTD and BOTM do publicize books but what if a person wants to read a new book from an author which people consider as the Most Engrossing Book? A book which gets nominated can remain in that category for a month or so. There can be also other awards such as Most Complicated Character, Bravest Character, Funniest Book or Character etc.

Not only this, the forum can also be used to discuss books and authors which are winning awards in the international level. We can select some international awards such as Booker Prize etc and add sub forums for each award and refresh it whenever a new book wins the prize. This will also make the many users in this site aware regarding which book or author is winning the most prestigious awards for books and authors in the world.

Do post your comments on what you think about this idea and also if there are are any other suggestions.???.

Thanks!!!! :tiphat:

I like this idea.

What I need to move forward is a complete list of all the different award categories.

I like this idea! I think it will work as long as the categories are one that readers are interested in. It involves the community and goes beyond just the regular award winning recommendations. I can't wait to see how this develops!

I hope nobody minds some brain storming!
I'd like to suggest 'best cover', and best 'lgbt+'.
