Re: I'm on the fence! (Looking for some info)
I just thought to look at the page count for this book, and I'm, like
Perhaps this is why the second book is not yet written
What is grief, if not love persevering?
Grief is just love with no place to go.

I found there is always a difference between the two for some reason. The page count on my kindle is 671 pages.Gravy wrote:There's quite difference between the pages count on bookshelves, and the page count on Amazon

It's an interesting story, but personally, I think it is longer than it needs to be. I read fast and am having trouble getting through it. I think it's definitely worth the read, but be ready to invest some time.curious_daisy wrote:I have so many books on my tBR this month plus I'm trying to do nanowrimo so I still dont know whether I want to read this book :/ How is everyone liking it so far?

I like it too. I agree that the author could have tightens some parts of the tale.Janetleighgreen wrote:It's an interesting story, but personally, I think it is longer than it needs to be. I will finish tonight. I usually read a book in a few days. This one took a couple weeks. It's a good story, just long. I think it could've been a bit shorter. I think you'll like it though.Gnome wrote:I just bought the book. Reading the interview with the author pushed me over the edge. ER Barr sounds a lot like my college advisor who is a Lewis scholar.

Knowing your taste, I don't think the book is for you.bookowlie wrote:I am also on the fence about reading this book. I was a bit put off by the length, even though the story looks interesting. It's a big commitment since I also belong to an in-person book club, read review books, and books of my own choosing. Added to the mix is I am still in the middle of last month's BOTM and don't want to continue to fall behind with future monthly picks.
