I was initially intrigued by the cover. I am genuine fan of anything horror! You initial description reminded me of the first scene in one of the SAW movies.

Your review makes the book seem a bit complicated. But based on you providing a 4/4, I'm willing to give it a shot. Is this a weekend read, or a longer investment?
