What does that say about book to film? Absolutely nothing. I have seen books to film that in my opinion make better films than books and I've seen ones that have failed. I suppose success depends on too many variables to say overall that it works or doesn't work.

I loved The Book Thief, the book. I thought it was way better than the movie. Not to say the movie was bad, but the book was so much betteralexanderian wrote:Was the movie, "The Book Thief" better than the book? It has come out already right? Sometimes the books are way better than the movie.

I can borrow it from you and then tell you all about when I finish it. I've got just enough free time to fit it in.
