Historical Romance usually. Or just plain historical fiction. I do love being transported into a world the is not modern and the is still relatable to today.

Science fiction and fantasy. Thriller, adventure and detective novels are the backup choice if pickings are slim in sci fi and fantasy.

I usually head for the non-fiction section of the library as I read most of my other books on Kindle or buy them at bookstores which I already know are good books. I also request most of my fiction only so I only have to pick it up when I'm in the library. But I do not want to waste money and time on bad non-fiction books, so I go over them at the library before taking them out.

When I'm alone I go for the young adult section. On occasion though I'm with my siblings so I'll be all over the library: the fantasy, sports, and children's sections.

Manga. Comics. I love graphic novels that have a deeper meaning or unexpected, underlying message.

I...I don't have a specific section I head for. Well, at least not after I drop my return books off lol.

No really, I don't. I...stroll. And eventually take a random turn. And start looking. And then when it is time to move on (I just know when its time) I start strolling again.

New fiction! I always veer right to the new section to see what new goodies are out on the shelf :)
